Domain Name Setup
Each journal or society must register and maintain its own domain name. The journal always retains full control of of this URL.
Some notes about domain names:
The domain name and the journal title may need to be different if a domain you'd like to use has already been registered. To create a unique domain, you can always add 'journal' to the domain name or abbreviate portions of the journal title in the domain name. The Web site whois.domaintools.com "Lookup" search feature is a resource that allows you to look up URLs to determine whether they are in use or available.
Please note, many places where you buy a domain name also offer hosting or offer the domain as a package with their hosting service. Scholarly Exchange® service provides your hosting so only the domain needs to be purchased.
These services are free for the first year while you get your journal started and then $750 USD per year thereafter.
